The first health checkup clinic has been launched in north Tehran to measure health status of citizens.
Many citizens are unaware of the situation of their kidneys or hearts and start fasting before known what is the effect of fasting on renal or heart diseases. A health checkup clinic will help them know about their health status by spending a small amount of money.

Exemplar Citizens to Receive Citizenship Medal
A bill to award citizenship medal to exemplar citizens has been passed by Tehran Islamic City Council.
According to Tehran SAMA, the bill obliges Tehran mayor to grant citizenship medal to citizens who have rendered outstanding services in various parts of the city and its neighborhoods in religious, cultural, social and environmental fields.

Traffic and Media Festival Aims to Promote Traffic Culture
More than 800 works by journalists and media reporters have been sent to secretariat of the third festival of traffic and media.
Tashakkori Hashemi, Tehran deputy mayor for transportation and traffic noted that such festivals can do a lot to institutionalize traffic culture and promote interactions between media crew and officials.
He also told Tehran SAMA that organizing traffic education and building culture are major goals of the festival and added that audio and visual media can cane traffic behavior of citizens and build the suitable culture.
Hashemi stated that improving traffic culture will improve traffic behavior and increase safety.

10th Exhibition of Construction Industry Underway
The 10th international exhibition of construction industry got underway on Tuesday, August 3, attended by 4,600 Iranian and foreign companies from 35 countries. The event will continue until August 6.
According to Fars news agency, the exhibition is attended by 4,000 domestic companies and 400 foreign companies from 35 countries including the United States, UK, France, Germany and Canada.

Quran Exhibition Precedes Ramadan
Tehran hosts an annual exhibition of Quran before Ramadan and this year’s exhibition has chosen “Quran, the Book of Life” as its motto. It will be launched on August 8 and will continue for a whole month.
Fars news agency quoted Hosseini, minister of culture and Islamic guidance, as saying that the section on Quran and Islamic nations will be attended by 36 nations and is sponsored by the Mostafa International Society. Thus far, 25 countries have indicated their readiness to be present at the international exhibition of Quran.
