Tehran SAMA quoted managing director of Tehran and Suburbs Subway Operations Company as saying that Tehran subway is seeing busy days as citizens go to downtown or Behesht-e Zahra cemetery to carry out special rituals.
He said in the first day of the New Year, the subway will be cost-free. “This measure will reduce air pollution and motor traffic and subway company hopes citizens will have a day without much traffic problems.”
