Presenting an Indigenous Paradigm to Measure Effectiveness in Cultural Organizations and Institutions (Case Study: Social Deputyship of District 8 Municipality of Tehran)

In today’s competitive world, wherein effectiveness has increased in all areas, only those organizations could remain in this tumultuous world that could make optimum use of their resources and produce maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Abstract

In today’s competitive world, wherein effectiveness has increased in all areas, only those organizations could remain in this tumultuous world that could make optimum use of their resources and produce maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
The importance and status of this issue in the process of development and progress of organizations is such that it is currently being discussed as an important issue in the area of management at organizations, especially cultural organizations and institutions.
A major effort in the present research is focused on designing a native pattern for measurement of effectiveness in cultural organizations and institutions. To this end, efforts have been made that by using ideas and views of experts on the dimensions, components and indicators effective in efficiency of cultural approach be identified. Then by reference to experts (management and cultural management professors) the extent of importance of each of them is determined and finally by using statistical software and methods such as computation of geometric and mathematical average design the EXCEL and MATLAB model. In the next stage with specification of current status and evaluation of effectiveness in view of managers of the organization under study, the extent of deviation of the current status in each of the components effective in measurement of efficacy with favorable condition was determined and in proportion to the situation of the mentioned organization in dealing with each of the components, proposed strategies were presented.
