According to Shahrnevesht, the Miniature Garden Park is in an area of about three hectares which is limited to West Janbazan St. in the south, to Kerman St. in the west and to Imam Ali (A.S.) Highway in the east. The difference between this garden park and other garden parks in the world is in the attention that has been paid to outstanding world collections and their surrounding environment with the scenario adjusting them with the Iranian geography. The Miniature Garden Park depicts species in the Zagros and Alborz regions. Among facilities of this garden park is a gallery building with an area of 750 square meters, the library, the shopping center for the cultural products and the printing house.
According to the report, planning has been made for the construction of the second phase of the garden park which includes development of miniature maquettes of Gonbad-e Qaboos, Isfahan Jame Mosque, Golestan Palace and Dastkand village in Maymand, Kerman and other nine fold gardens in Iran.
This garden park is the first Iranian park of its kid under construction in Tehran. Some 12 collections of historical monuments in the country which have received world registration have been built at 1/25 scale and their location in the park is appropriate with their real geographical features. For example, the Persian Gulf is in the southern part of the garden museum, Naqsh-e Jahaan Square is in the central part and Bistoun is in the western side. On this basis other places such as Arg-e Bam and Choghazanbil Ziggurat have been placed in proportion to their real geographical locations.
