Ebadollah Ramezani, Tehran Municipality’s director general for cultural affairs, told Tehran SAMA that six cultural stations will be held around Imam Khomeini shrine and the programs will be implemented in all districts of Tehran in the week which ends on June 3. The programs include holding poetry sessions, house of neighborhood, house of health, as well as cultural, artistic and sports competitions and a poster and photo exhibit.
In district 1, special programs will be held in Jamaran Hosseiniyeh and poetry sessions will be also held at cultural complexes and culture houses.
On May 29, Tehran Municipality staff paid tribute to Imam Khomeini at his shrine where Mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf thanked God for having lived in this juncture of the Iranian history.
Mehdi Chamran, head of Tehran Islamic City Council, also said as time goes by, values of Imam Khomeini become more evident.
