Javanmardan Park is a new park in district 22 where in addition to natural beauties, statues of famous Iranian dignitaries will be installed.


Hossein Moradi, district 22 mayor told Tehran SAMA that statues of Iranian poets, writers, scientists and champions will be installed to introduce them and their honors to the present generation.

He added that so far 20 statues and busts as well as abstract designs made of bronze, including a 4.5 m high statue of Amir Kabir, a 4 m statue of brave farmer, a 4 m statue of Arash the Archer, a 3 m statue of Molla Sadra, a 3 m statue of Mowlana and a 1.5 m statue of Martyr Fahmideh in addition to statues of Avicenna, Takhti and mother have been installed.

Other statues will be also installed soon. The park is located northwest of Tehran and statues have been installed to introduce citizens to those figures. They have been set up in predetermined distances from one another on the western side of the park each with a plaque carrying necessary information to visitors.
