According to IRNA, the ‘Quran and International Culture’ as the newest section of the 20th International Quran Exhibition started its work in the presence of experts from 46 world countries in 22 pavilions. This section has been held with cooperation of the exhibition headquarters and “Jamea al-Mostafa al-Alamiya” and will continue its activities up to the end of Ramadan. In this section, experts from 46 countries are present in 22 pavilions and present their Quranic activities to visitors.
According to the report, exchange of views between Quran activists from different countries and acquaintance with Quranic achievements in educational and research areas in various countries are among major objectives of this section. Also a specific glance at the process of education and memorization of the Holy Quran in different countries are among other targets for setting up this section. In addition, in this section, some representatives of the participating countries have brought linear copies of the Holy Quran from their countries for putting on display. Holding forums on reviewing potentials and achievements of the Quran in different countries of the world is among other programs of this section.
The 20th International Quran Exhibition which started its work under the slogan ‘Quran, Culture of Awakening’ at Tehran Grand Imam Khomeini (RA) Prayer Ground (Mosalla) on July 15, would be open to public every day from 17:00 to 24:00 hours and on holidays from 14:00 to 24:00 until August 14.
