Managing Director of Beautification Organization of Tehran Municipality Javad Shoushtari told Shahrnevesht: “Flags of 120 countries have been installed on the entrance of the city of Tehran and on the route of arrival of guests in the capital city and most bridges in the city and those on the way of arrival of foreign guests from Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport to the venue of the summit meeting have been lightened. The bridges on Shahid Chamran and Hemmat crossing, Shahid Chamran and Yadegare Emam, bridges on the way to the Imam’s mausoleum, the entrance to Towhid Tunnel, etc., have been lightened.
Shoushtari added that flags of 120 member states in the Non-Aligned Movement in addition to entrances of the city have also been installed on the venue of the summit meeting. Meanwhile, urban TV sets would welcome guests in Persian, English and Arabic languages.
Ali Mohammad Mokhtari, Secretary General of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Tehran said: “In addition to building green space at the venue of the summit meeting, rehabilitation of green space at Saadabad Palace and the Presidential Office is underway. Also, building and renovation of green space at the residence of the guests and places they would inspect, including Milad Tower, as well as hotels they would reside in have been completed.
