On the occasion of anniversary of Ukraine's independence an exhibition of works of contemporary artists of the country has been held at Tehran Milad Tower. The exhibition represents a collection of 60 works of renowned Ukrainian artists.

According to Tehran SAMA, Milad Tower in Tehran with cooperation of the Embassy of Ukraine has organized an exhibition of works of contemporary Ukrainian artists. In this exhibition 60 works of three great Ukrainian artists, Igor Prokofiev, Marina Shekarappa and Anatol, are on display for public inspection. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge.

The exhibition of works of contemporary Ukrainian artists is aimed at exchange of culture and arts between the two countries and providing Iranian visitors with an opportunity to get further acquainted with the contemporary art of the country.

The exhibition was opened at Tehran Milad tower on 6 September and is open until 11 September. Ambassadors of Armenia, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Kyrgyzstan, Uruguay, Romania, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria, Finland and Belarus were present at the opening session.
