Tehran Metro and the public bus service will boost their cooperation during the 28th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) to facilitate the transportation of the visitors.
The Head of Tehran urban and suburban railway operation company, Mohsen Nayebi, said extra trains would be used for the rush hours during the fair.
The arrival times of the trains will also be reduced to 5 minutes at the weekends, he said.
He also added that the subway would deploy its maximum manpower particularly at the Beheshti and Mosalla stations, the ones closest to the exhibition venue.
Public buses, dedicated particularly to transportation of the Book Fair visitors, will ply between the venue and the city’s main squares.
Tehran International Book Fair, the greatest Iranian book event, is set to be held from May 6 to 16 in the Grand Mosalla.
