110 representatives of Tehran Municipality attended the online workshop "Zurich's Experiences in Preserving the Urban Environment" and discussed the most important global issues of the environment and urban management.
Increasing global warming, climate anomalies, reactions from residents of these areas, developments and lessons in the field of urban and environmental management in the hot weather of 2003 were among the items discussed at the online meeting. On the other hand, the role of materials used in buildings was also discussed in increasing heat, and this theory was proposed that contrary to popular belief, the material and type of materials used in buildings affect the temperature more than the climate.
This virtual meeting highlighted the promotion of renewable energy as a cheaper and more effective solution and the need to eliminate fossil fuels, and the experience of the two-kilowatt community project as a solution to maintaining the climate balance in which the share of carbon dioxide production by Each citizen is determined and limited.
